About Me

I started this blog because I was a newly married guy who realized the cultural mandate of egalitarian 'leadership' doesn't work the minute you put some rings on. It all falls apart because God made marriage to work differently. So I blog what I learn as I study biblical leadership.

In Feb. of 2010 my wife and I lost our son, Athan. It is still very rough for us, and as I work through grief, I am sharing how God comforts his children in times of sorrow.

All in all, this blog is what I make it. I'm committed to following Christ and this is an extension of that.
